Born and raised in North Georgia, Johnny Free is a proud graduate of Johnson High School in Oakwood, where he was a standout on both the football field and wrestling team. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army as a 19K Tank Crewman, gaining a disciplined and resilient mindset that has shaped his professional journey.
Johnny brings a diverse and seasoned background in surveying, engineering, commercial construction, and high-end real estate. Over the years, he has launched, owned, and sold multiple successful businesses across various industries. His career has also helped him build strong relationships with key figures in sports, business, music, and entertainment.
In 2022, Johnny was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease—an unexpected moment that shifted his perspective on life. With renewed purpose, he committed to getting in the best shape of his life and embracing a “live like it’s your last day” mindset. That turning point inspired him to pursue a longtime dream: launching a podcast.
With the 25/8 Podcast, Johnny aims to offer more than just interviews. His goal is to give listeners an authentic look into the lives of his guests—beyond the spotlight, beyond the headlines. It’s about real conversations with real people, told through the lens of someone who’s lived, learned, and is still pushing forward.

CO-FOUNDER | CO-HOST
Known to many as “Bobby Keith” or “B2K,” Keith Kilgore was born and raised in Magnolia, Texas, before relocating to Teague in 2003. He graduated from Teague High School in 2005 and, like many, worked a variety of jobs before discovering his path in the music industry.
Keith's career took off in 2015 when he began working with country artist Cody Jinks. Starting as a merch manager, he steadily earned his way up—becoming Jinks’ personal assistant in 2019 and ultimately tour manager by 2023. Over nearly a decade, Keith gained firsthand experience behind the scenes of a fast-moving entertainment career, learning what it truly takes to succeed in a demanding industry.
In 2024, Keith and longtime friend Johnny Free decided it was time to share those stories and insights by launching the 25/8 Podcast. Built around the idea that success requires more than just a 24/7 mindset, the show dives into the grit, grind, and untold moments behind music, sports, and entertainment. The name “25/8” reflects their belief in going further—working harder, longer, and smarter to rise above.
Today, Keith continues to tour as merch manager and tour manager for Aaron Watson, while also enjoying time off the road playing slow pitch softball with friends. His lifelong love of sports and music fuels his passion for the podcast—and for connecting with guests and fans in a deeper, more personal way.
